Are you interested in sharing your expertise by giving a presentation to the spa guests at The Oaks at Ojai?  Does bartering for an overnight stay at our spa sound good too?  Read on!

Each evening at 7:15 pm we schedule a 45-60 minute lecture/demo/presentation.  Our topics include all aspects of wellness, fashion, preventative medicine, cosmetic surgery, arts & crafts, financial planning, local lore or history and so much, more!  We want to share information with our guests and we want them to have fun!

  GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTERS  AT THE OAKS AT OJAI 

                  We are dedicated to assisting our presenters so they can maximize their impact on our spa guests.  We hope the guidelines below will better acquaint you with our spa presenters program.

• Speakers receive a complimentary one-night stay for one person.  This includes all meals, fitness programs and full use of our spa facilities. (If two people are giving the presentation, they can share a double occupancy room)
• 
  
• If a speaker brings a guest to share their room, that person will receive a 20% discount off the program rate.  A 20% discount is offered for you, if you decide to stay a second night.*  Check us out at www.oaksspa.com to see types of accommodations and their rates.      Local presenters might opt for a gift certificate for a spa service (massage or facial) or a Spa Day.  They are valid for one year and non-transferable.

• Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.; checkout time is 12:00 noon. 
• 
  
• The Oaks is a low-tech environment, but we do have a Slide Projector, DVD Player and Large Screen TV as well as a Dry Erase Board available.
• 
  
• Handouts are very popular among our guests, if you wish to provide these, please bring approximately 50 copies.  We are not equipped to provide copies for our speakers.
• 
  
• The speaker is responsible to coordinate their needs in advance with Elizabeth. 
• 
  
• SALES ARE NOT ALLOWED
• 
  
• Housemen are available to help speakers set up the room (move tables and chairs) 30 minutes prior to presentation.
• 
  
• Any variation on length of stay, type of accommodation or guest sharing your accommodation, must be handled with Elizabeth – in advance.
• 
  
• The Oaks at Ojai reserves the right to promote your event on our social media and promotional documents.  We love it when you can reciprocate!
• 
  
• The subjects involved in health and wellness vary greatly.  While your presentation may offer information that differs from the philosophies of the Oaks, please keep in mind we need to share a united front.
